We are happy to announce that there is now a second Dark Expanse Twitter feed that focus or news, events and discussion.  @DarkExpanseMMO

We are further happy to note that the original feed, @DarkExpanse, has been revamped to include more expressive announcements regarding active ongoing game play.  This feed will continue to include game info and hints as well. We think you will find the new feeds extremely exciting.

We are happy to announce the first Dark Expanse book, an anthology of short stories, is now available exclusively for Kindle on Amazon.com. There are several stories by award winning authors including Ken Liu winner of both the Nebula and Hugo awards. Future plans include the release in other formats.

Over 12 exceptional authors wrote a number of stories in the Dark Expanse universe.  Surviving the Collapse provides the insights into the races and history of the game.

We will be moving the Dark Expanse forum to the new hosting company server Wednesday night between 6:00 and 7:00 PM EST. We are hoping that everything, including attached files and pictures, will still be available after the move. (It worked during testing!  ) But, you may want to grab copies of anything that you are worried about.

News and Announcements / Server Maintenance and New Black Eye Galaxy 16 Feb 2014

There will be server maintenance on Andromeda and Black Eye galaxies on 16 Feb 2014.  Any outages are planned to be between noon and 6pm US Eastern time zone.

We are moving the galaxies to a new hosting site.  The new Black Eye galaxy when launched, will be on the new site.  We will leave the old galaxy running until that time.

We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause and appreciate your patience during this transition.

On January 24th 2014, the Logorasch Invasion Event will begin. The Logorasch, due to rapid population growth, overcrowding, and a lack of resources, will abandon their planets and seek to invade a new homeland. Over the next ten days, this energetic and unstable race will swarm from their underground lairs and threaten the galaxy.  Are you ready to help stop this menace?

The Dark Expanse Andromeda 3 galaxy will be wrapping up on 27 September 2013.  We would like to thank all those that participated and made that galaxy a success.  The Galaxy Winners will be posted to the Hall of Honor.

The new galaxy instance will be starting on 28 September 2013.  Several announcements will be sent out when the new galaxy is online.

Existing player accounts, and credits, from the previous instance will be transferred to the new galaxy instance.  Therefore, you will be able to retain your old log in and password in the Andromeda 4 galaxy.

We have relaunched the Vilicus Resurgence Event, but made it optional.  The event will run through the end of the galaxy, but if you wait until the last few days, you may not get to participate in the event.  Good luck to all those that sign up.
